Patients experiencing seizures should be classified as a priority for transport if a second seizure occurs without responsiveness. This indicates a serious condition known as status epilepticus, which is characterized by a prolonged seizure or consecutive seizures without recovery of consciousness in between. Such situations can lead to complications like respiratory failure or further neurological damage, making immediate medical attention crucial.

While other scenarios, like a seizure lasting for two minutes or a patient being in the postictal state, are important and may require transport, they do not necessarily indicate an urgent need for immediate transport compared to the risk associated with consecutive seizures without recovery. Likewise, the absence of anti-seizure medication for 24 hours is a valid concern for seizure management but does not inherently designate the urgency of transport as clearly as the occurrence of repeated seizures without responsiveness.
